Greetings everyone! This is going to be a fun project.
I've been selected by the City of Austin to create the first work of public art in my own neighborhood! It's also MY first permanent public art commission! I’m excited, and just a LITTLE bit nervous!
We’re at the beginning stages of the design phase right now, and as part of the process, I am hosting a series of Zoom sessions to present my ideas and invite engagement from the community, as well as anyone interested in the process of how a large commissioned project is created...in real time!
I've got some great concepts for the art. Join me as we talk about the process and discuss my ideas.
