Zach Scott Theatre in Austin, Texas produced a unique bilingual version of the famed Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical in 2007.  As part of the scenery and stage design, 44 shadow boxes were created by local artists to resemble Mexican Retablos.

 

Each art piece was auctioned at the end of the run to raise money for the theatre.
