Sponsored annually by the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Central Texas, Art Bra Austin is a fully costumed professionally produced runway show and auction to raise funds to support local women affected by breast cancer.  

 

As a breast cancer survivor (who is cancer-free since 2010!) Dianne has worked with partner Monica Meadows to create a mosaic art bra every year for the event.  The bras are modeled by BCRC clients, all of whom are breast cancer survivors themselves.

 

To create a fully wearable mosaic bra involves plenty of engineering, skill, and finesse. These bras have gained enormous attention in the live auctions each year, and consistently raise thousands of dollars for BCRC, which allows them to continue the valuable work they do.
