Created as part of the 2nd International Clauiano Mosaic Symposium.  As one of 9 international artists selected to participate by Maestro Giulio Menossi, I created a large-scale sculptural mosaics in 2 weeks within the theme of Alchemy.  As part of our challenge, we were tasked with utilizing elements from wine barrels to honor our sponsors, wineries in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. My sponsor, Azienda Agricola Picèch supplied the wine barrel parts, and now owns the artwork in their winery in Cormons, Italy.
